Our vision is to empower, mentor and equip women to understand, discover and fulfil their divinely ordained purpose. Our mission is to cultivate a welcoming environment where women can engage in worship, service and spiritual growth. Our all-embracing objective is to enable them to become both homemakers and contributors to the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

“The Handful/ Fistful of Rice” (Khezümtsüng) tradition involves family members, particularly women, setting aside a fistful of rice during each meal preparation. This collected rice is then offered to the Church, which subsequently sells it to generate revenue for its operational and outreach endeavours. This practice underscores the concept of sharing resources for the Church’s mission, reflecting gratitude for God’s provision and inspiring a commitment to supporting the ministry.

DEACONESSES RETREAT & FELLOWSHIP

Deaconesses fellowship empowers deaconesses to reaffirm their roles with greater spiritual vitality, unity, and purpose thus strengthening their bonds through shared experience and mutual edification. It serves as spiritual nourishment providing a time for prayer, worship and biblical teaching to deepen their relationship with God. It is a time of recreation and reflection and fostering renewed commitment to service.

Deaconesses Prayer Fellowship: Every First Thursday of the month the women department officials meet at 8:00 AM before the service for prayer fellowship.

ELOETSO MMYANTA EKHÜM

This service is held on the Eve of Good Friday to commemorate the Passion of Christ. It aims to unite women from all walks of life—different backgrounds, ages, professions, and generations, fostering a powerful network of mutual support, connection and collective growth. Our gatherings are founded on the principle that collective gatherings of women can generate a significant motivation for positive change.

OTSOEORO MMHA RANDAN EKHÜM

The prayer service for children specifically observed on the second Thursday of January is a special gathering designed to nurture spiritual development in a way that is both engaging and meaningful for the children. This service is intended to invoke divine grace and blessings for the upcoming year, particularly seeking wisdom for the children. Furthermore, it serves to bless the students as they embark on a new academic year, asking for God’s protection, inspiration, guidance and a joyful approach to learning throughout their educational journey and pursuits.

GIFT BOX

Within each household, a designated gift box is maintained by the women, serving as a repository for offerings reflecting gratitude for divine blessings. This practice embodies Christian principles of love, generosity and selfless charity, exemplified by Jesus Christ, thus providing believers with a tangible means to express their faith through sacrificial giving, thereby honouring God with their resources (Proverbs 19:17, 2 Corin 9:7). The accumulated funds are allocated to support the Church’s mission and ministry endeavours, encompassing outreach programs, home missions, evangelism initiative and aid for those in need.

The collection of offering occurs through our September, culminating in a service of thanksgiving held during the first Thursday of October.

FASTING AND PRAYER (JANUARY & JULY)

The women Department holds prayer and fasting biannually, in January and July. It serves as a powerful tool for collective faith and seek divine intervention. The believers are encouraged to strengthen their spiritual relationship with God and engage in intercessory prayers. By engaging in prayer and fasting, the believers demonstrate their dependence on God, invites His power, and prepares for greater works in His name.

WIDOW PRAYER DAY

The Widow’s Prayer Day (Emi Randan tsüngon) is a dedicated service observed on the third Thursday of June, preceding Father’s Day. This gathering is specifically designed to honor, support and offer prayers for the widows within the Church community. It serves to acknowledge the widows’ faith, wisdom, and valuable contributions to the church. Furthermore, this service acts as a reminder of the Biblical mandate to care for widows, thereby reaffirming God’s love and compassion for those in vulnerable circumstances.
