HIS STORY

GLORY TO GOD

The Kohima Lotha Baptist Church was established on 4th March 1956 by eight founding members from six households. The pioneer members were:

1. Late Mr. & Mrs. Mhonsao Kikon

2. Mr. & Mrs. Rhonthungo Tungoe

3. Late Nyanshio Kikon

4. Mr. C. Yilumo Kithan

5. Late Chanchi Jami

6. Late Lichio Humtsoe

Since its humble beginnings, the Church has grown significantly and now has a membership of 2,406 individuals across 932 households.

Currently, the Church is served by 14 ministerial staff, 11 non-ministerial staff, and 4 youth evangelists.

To foster spiritual growth and community fellowship, the Church has expanded into seven sectoral fellowships, providing members the opportunity to gather for worship every Wednesday and Saturday.
