Baptism Service for Non Locals

Baptism Service for Non-Locals Kohima Lotha Baptist Church 30th May 2026 On 30th May 2026, Kohima Lotha Baptist Church had the privilege of administering baptism to 5 (five) non-local believers who had confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This sacred service was conducted in obedience to the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, who commanded His disciples to baptize those who believe in Him (Matthew 28:19–20). Baptism is a public declaration of faith and symbolizes the believer's union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3–4). Through this act of obedience, the five candidates testified to God's saving grace and their commitment to follow Christ faithfully. The congregation rejoiced as these believers took this important step of faith, affirming their dedication to Christian discipleship. The service was a powerful reminder that the Gospel of Christ transcends all cultural and geographical boundaries, bringing people from diverse backgrounds into one family of faith. We thank God for the lives of these newly baptized believers and pray that they will continue to grow in spiritual maturity, steadfastness, and service to the Lord. May their testimony inspire others to follow Christ in faith and obedience.
